The 8th Annual Cottontown Art Crawl presented by Prisma Health will be on Saturday, March 7th from 10am-4pm in the beautiful, historic Cottontown-Bellevue neighborhood. Approximately 230 artists will be on-hand selling their wares, along with food vendors, live music and more!

  • What is the Cottontown Art Crawl?
    The Cottontown Art Crawl, presented by Prisma Health, is a free, outdoor arts festival featuring 230 artists, live music, food vendors and more in the historic Cottontown-Bellevue neighborhood of Columbia, SC. Attendees can explore and purchase art while enjoying a lively community atmosphere.

    When is the Cottontown Art Crawl?
    The 8th Annual Cottontown Art Crawl, presented by Prisma Health, will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 10am-4pm.

    Where is the Cottontown Art Crawl?
    The festival takes place in the Cottontown-Bellevue neighborhood located just north of downtown Columbia. It is bordered by Bull Street, North Main Street, Elmwood Avenue and Grace Street near the BullStreet District and Elmwood Park.

    Is the Event Family-Friendly?
    Yes! The event is ideal for all ages.

  • Is There a Cost to Attend?
    No, it is completely free!

    Do I Need to Register or Get a Ticket?
    No, just show up and enjoy the event, but we’d love to know where you’re visiting from, so please stop by the Carter Realty Information Tent, and let us know.

  • Is the Event Wheelchair and Stroller Accessible?
    Yes, but some areas may have uneven sidewalks or grassy lawns.

  • Can I Bring My Dog?
    Yes! Friendly, leashed dogs are permitted at the festival.

  • Are Restrooms Available?
    Yes, we have portable restrooms and handwashing stations, including ADA accessible, placed throughout the event.

  • Will Streets Be Closed?
    Yes, some streets in Cottontown will be closed to vehicle traffic to create a safe, walkable experience. Closed streets are marked pink on the festival map.

  • Where Should I Park?
    There will be several dedicated parking lots and street parking around Cottontown all listed on the event map. We recommend:

    • Parking at nearby public lots and on open streets

    • Carpooling

    • Rideshare services

  • What if There is Inclement Weather?
    A little rain won’t stop the event, but heavy winds and rain could cause a delayed start or rain date to go into effect. The rain date is Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 12pm-5pm. Check for updates on social media @cottontowncrawl if the weather forecast doesn’t look favorable. If necessary, rain date decisions will be announced on Thursday, March 5.

  • Are Food and Drink Available?
    Yes! We have over 20 food vendors that will be stationed in groups throughout the event that offer a variety of options as well as our neighborhood restaurants and bars.

    Can I Bring My Own Food and Drink?
    Yes, but we encourage you to support our local vendors and restaurants/bars. 

    Is Alcohol Available for Purchase?
    Alcohol is available at our neighborhood restaurants and bars.

  • What Kind of Art Will Be Available?
    You’ll find a diverse mix of paintings, pottery, photography, jewelry, sculptures, fiber, ceramics, and more, all created by local and regional artists.

    Can I Buy Art at the Event?
    Yes! Artists will be selling their work directly, so bring cash or card to support them. Artists accept credit/debit cards, but some may prefer cash or Venmo, Cash App or Zelle.

  • Will There Be Live Music?
    Yes! We will have a stage at the intersection of Franklin and Sumter Streets, and performances will be from 10am-12pm and 1pm-4pm. Our featured groups represent a diverse mix of music genres.
